A code to decode. A2MAC1 is a global leader in automotive benchmarking. By reverse-engineering vehicles down to their smallest components, the company transforms complex technologies into structured data and actionable insights. In essence, A2MAC1 decodes the hidden intelligence inside products to help manufacturers innovate and improve.

This same logic of decoding lies at the heart of A2MAC1’s visual identity. Built entirely in code, the design system mirrors the company’s mission: extracting clarity from complexity. Every element: logotype, codemark, icons, imagery, originates from basic digital components such as Unicode symbols, system fonts, and pixel-based grids. A visual language rooted in data logic and inspired by the origins of computing.

The result is a modular, low-tech identity designed with Ecobranding principles. It reduces digital weight, optimises screen energy use, and cuts file sizes without sacrificing expressiveness. The brand’s dark mode, 8-bit style icons, and use of Trebuchet (a default system font) further reinforce this commitment to sustainable design.
